25 favorite images from 2025

The start of January prompted me to review my 2025 photographs, an endeavor that was somewhat disheartening. It was not a particularly creative or prolific year for my photography, mainly due to a lack of time from full-time work and a demanding learning project. More profoundly, I felt a creative drought, a sense of having nothing meaningful to say. For the first time in ten years, I took no photos for a whole month (May).

Despite the low output, I culled a selection of 25 favorite images from 2025. The collection is geographically narrow, mostly featuring Paris and Helsinki, with a few exceptions from a brief trip to Spain and one photo from Tallinn. For this post, the images are arranged purely in chronological order, with no thematic or hierarchical flow, though the fourth image holds a special personal significance.
