February challenge “Doors”
The international photography project “Around the world in 2026” was on my mind all the month of February. True to myself, however, I only managed to capture my images at the very last minute. As a quick refresher, this collaboration brings together photographers from across the globe to document everyday life and culture through our own unique lenses.
We aren’t looking for famous landmarks or postcard views; instead, we focus on the ordinary details that define a place. For February, the theme was “Doors.” Again, I stayed close to home, wandering no more than 1.5 km from my front door. These are just little pieces of the everyday; nothing to write home about, especially when you’re already there.
